Technical Function

The tower draws the air through the side and the upwards moving hot water gets collected in the FRP basin fitted on the top and the air passes through the target nozzles and sprinkles over the PVC fills.

Why Choose Cross-flow type cooling tower?

During the cooling process, the process water is pumped to the top of the cooling tower where it is distributed to the hot water distribution basin. Unlike the airstream, the distribution basin is gravity fed. It is the hydrostatic head of water above the nozzle that drives the nozzles. The outside top of a cooling tower can easily be accessed to clean gravity-fed crossflow water distribution while it is in operation.
